New Tool Review

Checking out two new store options for my cards (Etsy will remain as my jewelry hosting site). Thoughts and feedback appreciated on my store and ease of browsing the online shops.

First up - Storenvy - I liked the ease of viewing and browsing categories.

Second - Zibbet - my favorite thing here is the ability to browse by color on the left navigation!

What do you think??

  1. I've only ever tried Etsy. I'd be curious what you find out - is it twice as much work to maintain a presence in two venues, or is there some synchronicity?

  2. Sorry, I wrote synchronicity when I meant synergy. Need more coffee...

  3. Right now Etsy is for my jewelry and I'm leaning toward Zibbet for cards. Same look, two purposes. There's hardly anything to gain with selling cards besides being able to make them and perhaps recover my COG and Etsy commission and listing would eat into that recovery...

  4. Hmmm - come to think of it, as it is no profit in jewelry yet either! :P

  5. Zibbet does have an Etsy import tool though...

  6. Well as I told you already =) I like the zibbet set up and am highly leaning toward that and eventually leaving Etsy. As I have no ambition of trying to maintain to store fronts haha

Zibbet being newer has less traffic right now but the only traffic to my Etsy store is what I work hard to generate anyway. So IF I go with zibbet then I'd be doing the same. I just think that since for now 50 items listed for free compared to Etsy having to pay. Might be more cost effective. Maybe I'd feel differently if I was making a lot of sales from Etsy and not actually from my facebook directing them there to complete the purchase =/ I get so buried on Etsy so fast =( I do like Etsy though but have to weigh my options =)
